Income Taxation - Category A - for 2024

They are exempt from taxation:

• Meal allowance... up to 6€
• Meal vouchers... up to €9.60
• Absence allowance... up to 5% of fixed monthly remuneration
• Allowances... up to 62.75€ / day travelling in Portugal
• Allowances... up to €148.91 / day travelling abroad
• Compensation for travelling in your own car...up to 0.40€ km

- Childcare vouchers (up to the age of 7), social passes and health insurance are not subject to tax.
