Updating the food allowance

Public and private sector workers covered by the meal allowance will see their salary increase at the end of the month.

The government is raising the price from €5.20 to €6 and from €8.32 to €9.60 if it is paid by meal card.

This amendment will be retroactive to 1 January 2023.
